This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate Director, Marketing based in the United States. The Senior Associate Director, Marketing will help shape and execute high-impact marketing initiatives across a mission-driven organization. This role translates strategic priorities into integrated campaigns and communications that engage audiences and strengthen brand impact. You will work across multiple initiatives, timelines, and teams, providing experienced marketing guidance and ensuring effective execution. The position has significant responsibility for brand strategy, paid media, agency management, and major awareness and engagement campaigns. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, field stakeholders, volunteers, and external partners to create consistent and compelling experiences across channels. Your expertise will help optimize campaign performance, strengthen brand consistency, and connect marketing activities to broader organizational priorities. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to contribute to work with meaningful impact on people and communities affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Brand Strategy & Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of brand strategy initiatives, developing and managing campaigns while protecting brand consistency and coordinating production timelines and internal and external rollouts. Paid Media: Manage agency relationships and direct paid media strategy, including planning, budget allocation, audience strategy, campaign execution, and performance reporting to maximize reach and return on investment. Integrated Initiatives: Lead planning and execution for key organizational initiatives, including Volunteer Engagement and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, partnering across teams and business functions to develop and implement integrated marketing and communications plans. Field Marketing Guidance: Provide experienced marketing guidance to field teams and stakeholders, helping ensure priority initiatives are executed effectively and consistently across locations and audiences. Content Strategy: Provide strategic direction for engaging, mission-focused content across earned media, social media, direct marketing, and other channels, tailoring communications to different audiences and organizational priorities. Content Review: Review and edit marketing copy while advising internal and external partners and team members on content effectiveness, consistency, messaging, and brand standards. Marketing Collateral: Direct and oversee the development of internal and external marketing materials, advertising assets, website and landing-page content, merchandise, and other collateral. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across the Concern and Awareness division and broader organization to align marketing activities with strategic priorities and ensure coordinated execution across initiatives. Agency & Partner Management: Build effective working relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders, providing direction and coordination throughout campaign planning and delivery. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Uphold and incorporate the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout marketing strategy, content, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience; a master’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related discipline is also relevant. Professional Experience: 7–10 years of relevant marketing experience, with approximately 10 years preferred and agency experience considered an advantage. Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of integrated marketing, brand strategy, campaign development, paid media, content strategy, and multi-channel communications. Campaign Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously, coordinate timelines, and translate strategic priorities into effective execution. Agency Management: Experience working with and directing external agency partners, including campaign planning, media strategy, budgets, execution, and performance reporting. Content & Communications: Strong editorial judgment and the ability to develop, review, and refine compelling content for different audiences and communication channels. Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect marketing activities to broader organizational objectives while balancing brand consistency, audience needs, performance, and execution. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders across different teams and levels of an organization. Organization: Excellent project management, prioritization, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent initiatives. Benefits Salary: Base salary range of $90,000–$120,000 USD , associated with Grade 509. Work Arrangement: Fully remote position within the United States.
