The role covers continuing oversight of service-provider safety management systems, analysis of civil-aviation safety, national aviation safety planning, safety-performance indicators and targets, corrective/preventive action monitoring, and safety promotion.
Requirements & qualifications
The official notice requires higher or postgraduate education in specified aviation, technical, economics/business, mathematical/computer modelling, transport/logistics or transport-construction fields. Candidates need at least seven years in civil-aviation organizations in relevant flight-related positions, or at least three years as an inspector in an authorized civil-aviation body. Knowledge of SMS, safety risk management, ICAO Annex 19/ADREP, ICAO standards and professional English terminology is required.
