This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - EST based in India. This is a fully remote senior engineering opportunity focused on building scalable backend systems for AI-powered enterprise applications. You will design, develop, and operate high-impact products and features used by customers at significant scale. The role combines hands-on backend development with architectural thinking, engineering excellence, and customer-focused problem solving. You will work primarily with Python and modern backend frameworks while contributing to APIs, data systems, real-time services, and AI-driven capabilities. Collaboration is central to the role, with opportunities to shape system architecture and work closely with engineers and customers. You will operate in an agile environment where strong computer science fundamentals and thoughtful technical decisions are highly valued. The position requires working in the EST time zone to provide technical coverage for customers in the United States.
