Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst based in United States. This role serves as a strategic business analysis partner for enterprise B2B and B2C eCommerce customers across critical Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory processes. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with customer stakeholders and internal Customer Success teams to understand business needs and shape enhancement roadmaps. You will translate complex requirements into actionable user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams. The role operates across ERP, eCommerce, WMS, reporting, and integration environments while remaining technology-agnostic to support evolving platforms. You will help balance customer value, delivery capacity, complexity, risk, and business impact when prioritizing initiatives. This is a hybrid or fully remote opportunity with minimal travel and direct visibility with senior IT leadership.
Serve as the primary business analysis contact for assigned enterprise customers, understanding their strategic objectives, operational challenges, and enhancement needs. Partner with Customer Success and Account Management teams to intake, clarify, validate, and prioritize customer enhancement requests. Build and maintain shared customer enhancement roadmaps and present prioritization recommendations to customer leadership for approval before development resources are committed. Evaluate requests based on business value, customer impact, complexity, risk, and available delivery capacity. Manage customer expectations regarding scope, priorities, trade-offs, and timelines, escalating conflicts or resource constraints when necessary. Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory functions. Translate business needs into detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that development and QA teams can effectively execute. Document current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps, and define improvements that address business and customer needs. Collaborate with architects, developers, vendors, and other technical stakeholders to evaluate solution options across ERP and eCommerce platforms. Assess integrations, data, security, scalability, and downstream business impacts when defining proposed solutions. Maintain strong working knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes, including order entry, pricing and promotions, credit management, invoicing, billing, and cash application. Identify integration points and downstream impacts across ERP, eCommerce, warehouse management, and reporting systems. Participate as the business analyst within Agile/Scrum processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Maintain and prioritize enhancement backlogs in partnership with Product and Development leadership. Partner with customers, Customer Success, IT, and data teams to define reporting and analytics requirements related to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory KPIs. Translate business questions into clear reporting specifications, data definitions, and actionable requirements. Maintain roadmap and initiative documentation covering milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and action items. Provide regular status updates to IT leadership and proactively escalate risks, dependencies, or decisions requiring executive attention. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting complex business processes, enterprise applications, eCommerce, ERP, or related technology environments. Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory processes, with particular depth in order entry, pricing, promotions, credit, billing, invoicing, and cash application. Experience gathering requirements directly from customers and business stakeholders and translating them into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. Strong experience managing product or enhancement roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives based on business value, customer impact, complexity, risk, and delivery capacity. Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams and participating in backlog management, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Ability to analyze current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps, and develop practical solutions. Experience working across ERP, eCommerce, WMS, reporting, and integration environments, with an understanding of data flows and downstream impacts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to translate complex business questions into clear technical and reporting requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with enterprise customers, customer success teams, developers, architects, vendors, and senior leaders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, dependencies, priorities, and customer expectations simultaneously. Ability to remain technology-agnostic and adapt business analysis practices to evolving ERP and eCommerce platforms. Strong judgment when balancing customer needs, business value, technical complexity, risk, and development capacity. Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal travel. Experience with reporting, analytics, data definitions, and KPI requirements related to operational business processes is preferred. Benefits: Hybrid or fully remote work environment. Minimal travel requirements. Opportunity to work directly with enterprise B2B and B2C eCommerce customers. High-impact individual contributor role with ownership of customer enhancement roadmaps and requirements. Exposure to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, ERP, eCommerce, WMS, integrations, and analytics. Collaboration with Customer Success, Product, Development, Architecture, IT, data, and senior leadership teams. Opportunity to influence platform enhancements and business process improvements across evolving technology environments. Direct visibility with the VP of Applications and senior customer stakeholders.
