Senior Business Development Executive

As a senior business development executive at Gallup, you’ll take ownership of an ambitious revenue goal, developing opportunities across the Australian market while helping senior organisational leaders solve their most pressing workplace challenges. You’ll inherit a portfolio of clients while building your own pipeline, expanding existing accounts and winning new business. Drawing on Gallup’s research, analytics and consulting expertise, you’ll uncover what matters most to organisations and bring together the right people and consulting frameworks to deliver exceptional outcomes. What You’ll Do Achieve revenue and bookings goals, maintaining a strong pipeline and taking accountability for client growth Create and convert opportunities by developing relationships with senior decision-makers, uncovering their priorities and connecting their needs to Gallup’s solutions Advise senior leaders on workplace and business challenges using Gallup’s research, analytics and consulting expertise Expand existing accounts by identifying additional client needs and finding new ways for Gallup to create value Coordinate internal experts and client stakeholders to align priorities, clarify responsibilities and deliver on client commitments Build Gallup’s presence in the Australian market through networking and a deep understanding of clients, industries and emerging business needs Who We Want Driven achievers who embrace ambitious goals and gain energy from winning and growing business Natural hunters who proactively create opportunities, persist through setbacks and resistance, and turn prospects into long-term clients Trusted advisers who ask insightful questions, understand complex business challenges and architect solutions that produce measurable results Sophisticated communicators who build credibility with senior leaders through clear, persuasive presentations and value-focused conversations Strategic relationship builders who develop genuine client partnerships, build influential networks and recognise where relationships can lead to greater client impact and business growth Accountable orchestrators who take ownership, anticipate barriers and motivate people to deliver exceptional work on time and on budget What You Need Bachelor’s degree required At least 10 years of experience, including five years in business development with demonstrated success carrying and achieving significant revenue targets required Proven track record of winning new business, growing existing client relationships and developing opportunities with senior decision-makers required Experience in consulting, professional services, solution sales or another client-facing advisory environment preferred Experience thoughtfully integrating AI tools into daily work to improve productivity, research and outcomes preferred A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Sydney office at least three days per week required Eligibility to work in Australia required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship What You’ll Experience Mission-driven work: Make a meaningful difference in the world with your unique contributions, commitment to service and exceptional outcomes.
