Check us out at www.ensono.com   VDI Architecture & Design Implement and Support enterprise-scale Citrix and VMware Horizon environments . Architect secure and scalable VDI platforms supporting thousands of global users. Evaluate infrastructure requirements including compute, storage, network, and security . Develop high availability, disaster recovery, and failover strategies. Citrix Administration Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix Cloud environments. Configure and maintain: Delivery Controllers Citrix StoreFront Citrix Gateway / NetScaler Citrix Director & Studio Citrix FAS Manage Machine Creation Services (MCS) and Provisioning Services (PVS) . Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting . VMware Horizon Administration Manage VMware Horizon environments including: Horizon Connection Servers Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Instant Clone & Linked Clone environments App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager Monitor and optimize VDI performance and capacity. End User Computing (EUC) Operations Ensure optimal user experience for remote and on-prem users . Manage gold images, application delivery, and patching cycles . Support Windows 10 / Windows 11 VDI environments . Work closely with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams . Security & Compliance Implement security best practices including: Multi-Factor Authentication Secure remote access Endpoint security integration Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards . Monitoring & Troubleshooting Monitor VDI environments using tools such as: Citrix Director ControlUp VMware vRealize Operations Perform root cause analysis for performance and connectivity issues . Automation & Optimization Automate deployment and maintenance using PowerShell, scripting, or orchestration tools . Continuously improve VDI efficiency and reduce operational overhead. Required Skills & Experience Experience 5+ years working with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 5+ years working with VMware Horizon Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with: Citrix Technologies Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix Cloud Citrix Gateway / NetScaler Citrix FAS Citrix StoreFront Citrix Director & Studio Citrix MCS / PVS VMware Technologies VMware Horizon App Volumes Dynamic Environment Manager Instant Clones VMware vSphere Other Skills Windows Server Administration Window 11 Administration Active Directory & Group Policy Networking (DNS, DHCP, Load Balancers) Storage technologies Azure / AWS VDI (optional but preferred) PowerShell scripting Preferred Certifications Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) VMware Certified Professional – Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) Microsoft Azure certifications (preferred) Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in global enterprise environments Excellent stakeholder communication Leadership and mentoring capability Nice to Have Experience managing 10,000+ VDI users Experience with DaaS (Citrix Cloud / Horizon Cloud) Knowledge of Zero Trust access models Experience with Workspace One or Intune
