SEED Madagascar is recruiting a Senior Conservation Research Assistant in Fort Dauphin to lead field-based conservation research, oversee research-camp operations and support data collection, analysis, reporting and volunteer supervision.
Full job description
The role manages day-to-day field research, data quality, research logistics, volunteer guidance, community engagement and outreach, and compliance with safeguarding, safety and ethical policies. The timeframe is 24 months with potential to extend.
Requirements & qualifications
A master's degree in a conservation-related field, about 1–3 years of field data-collection experience, experience with GPS/GIS and data analysis, specialist knowledge in primatology, herpetology or botany, and a current First Aid certificate.
