Senior Consultant, Global HEOR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consultant, Global HEOR based in Switzerland. This is a senior consulting role focused on helping life sciences organizations address complex health economics and market access challenges across global and local markets. You will take ownership of HEOR projects, from developing economic models to translating analyses into high-quality client deliverables. The role combines technical expertise in health economics with project management, client engagement, and strategic problem-solving. You will work across cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, local adaptations, and early economic models supporting strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with experienced consultants and senior leaders while guiding junior team members and contributing to successful project delivery. Beyond client engagements, you will help strengthen HEOR capabilities through proposals, internal resources, publications, and thought leadership. Own assigned HEOR projects from planning through delivery, developing practical approaches to address client questions with limited guidance from senior team members. Develop and execute global and locally focused HEOR projects, including cost-effectiveness models, cost-utility models, budget impact models, local adaptations, and early economic models. Coordinate client and stakeholder interactions, lead meetings, and provide clear updates on project progress, risks, and deliverables. Guide and review quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify client issues and develop evidence-based recommendations. Anticipate potential project challenges, communicate risks effectively, and contribute to solutions with project teams and senior stakeholders. Coordinate the development of reports, presentations, workshops, and other client-facing deliverables while ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the life sciences and healthcare industries and apply relevant consulting methodologies to client engagements. Provide direction, oversight, coaching, and day-to-day support to Associates and Analysts working on projects. Support business development activities from lead identification through proposal development and presentation, including preparing sales materials, quotations, and full proposals. Contribute to internal strategic initiatives, knowledge management, technology systems, and other corporate development activities. Support recruitment and onboarding activities and contribute to the development of junior team members. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, publications, conference materials, abstracts, and other external content. Ensure work is delivered in line with applicable organizational policies, procedures, quality standards, and professional values. Requirements: 4–5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally combining consulting and life sciences industry experience. Demonstrated expertise designing and building health economic models, including global cost-effectiveness and cost-utility models, budget impact models, local model adaptations, and early-stage economic models. Experience developing HTA-ready economic models is particularly valuable. Strong understanding of HTA submission processes and the role of economic modeling across markets, including NICE, SMC, HAS, G-BA, CDA, and other national frameworks. Graduate-level education in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; a specialized Master’s degree in Health Economics, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage. Demonstrated project management experience, including responsibility for deliverables, timelines, stakeholder communication, and project teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to structure ambiguous or complex business and healthcare questions. Advanced experience building economic models in Excel, including VBA; experience with R, Python, R Shiny, TreeAge, Simul8, or other analytical and visualization tools is an advantage. Strong client-facing communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Experience coaching and developing junior colleagues through goal setting, feedback, mentoring, and performance development. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus. Comfortable working collaboratively across multicultural, international teams and in environments where not every process is highly structured.
