Conduct research using public records, official filings, rating-agency sources, and other reliable information to validate and maintain entity structures. Develop, execute, and continuously improve automated data-quality controls, exception reporting, and threshold-based alerts. Maintain a “no surprises, no silent errors” approach by ensuring every exception is documented, assigned to an owner, tracked through resolution, and investigated to root cause. Maintain Maker-Checker controls, audit trails, supporting evidence, and documentation required for internal and external audits, SOC controls, and regulatory reviews. Act as a Brazil-based operational partner to international teams across Trade Support, Middle Office, Portfolio Finance, Valuations, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Investments. Work directly with Agent Banks, Custodians, Fund Administrators, and data vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Escalate issues proactively and clearly, providing relevant context, risk impact, and recommended resolution paths. Support continuous improvement of data governance, controls, reconciliation processes, and operational workflows. Work according to New York business hours when required, including daily closing activities and periods of increased workload during month-end close. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. At least 6 years of relevant experience for Senior Analyst level in Investment Operations, Reference/Master Data Management, Middle Office, Back Office, Fund Administration, Loan Operations, or Data Governance. Experience within asset managers, banks, fund administrators, financial data providers, or similar financial-services environments. Practical knowledge of at least one relevant asset class, with Corporate Loans or Term Loans strongly preferred; experience with Bonds, Structured Products, Equities, or OTC Derivatives is also valuable. Strong understanding of the financial instrument lifecycle, including instrument setup, corporate actions, income payments and accruals, contractual amendments, settlement, maturity, and investment exit. Advanced Excel skills, including experience handling large datasets, reconciling information across multiple sources, and independently investigating discrepancies. Strong data-quality, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving capabilities. Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams. Availability and flexibility to work in alignment with New York hours, including daily and month-end closing periods. Experience with investment and lending platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, WSO, Geneva, SimCorp, or similar systems is desirable. Familiarity with financial-market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Markit/IHS, Refinitiv Eikon/LSEG, ICE, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, or LSTA/LPC is a plus. Knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation is advantageous. Experience with Python or VBA for process automation is desirable. Experience developing dashboards and management reporting with Power BI or Tableau is beneficial. Opportunity to improve controls, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency. Collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders, including investment, operations, legal, compliance, treasury, and technology teams. Inclusive and diverse working environment that values different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
