This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior DevOps Modernization Consultant based in the United States. This is an opportunity to lead complex mainframe modernization and source control migration initiatives within enterprise IBM z/OS environments. You’ll combine deep DevOps expertise with hands-on experience across Endevor, DBB, Git, IDD, and modern SCM practices. The role focuses on helping organizations transition legacy development and change-management processes toward modern, automated workflows. You’ll work directly with technical teams and client stakeholders to design, implement, troubleshoot, and validate modernization solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in building reliable CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and resolving issues throughout the application lifecycle. Beyond technical delivery, you’ll provide training, presentations, and knowledge transfer to help teams successfully adopt new technologies and practices. This role is well suited to an independent, customer-focused consultant who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and driving meaningful modernization outcomes.
