Lead cross-functional product initiatives from strategic planning through execution, fostering experimentation, rapid iteration, threat validation, and customer-focused innovation. Collaborate across Security Research, Engineering, Sales, Go-to-Market, and product organizations to build alignment, secure buy-in, and ensure effective execution of the threat intelligence and detection roadmap. Commission research into emerging cybersecurity problems, evolving threat landscapes, and potential strategies for addressing customer security needs. Establish and monitor OKRs for threat intelligence, threat hunting, and detection initiatives in support of wider business goals. Conduct and participate in cross-functional backlog and product-line reviews, helping identify priorities, dependencies, resource requirements, and opportunities for greater organizational efficiency. Identify emerging threat patterns and translate research, analysis, and market insights into product strategy, roadmap decisions, and investment priorities. Communicate major priorities and strategic initiatives to product principals and technical leaders, ensuring that complex cybersecurity strategies are translated into actionable programs. Help other product organizations understand how threat intelligence, detection, and AI capabilities can strengthen security response and enhance their solutions. Partner with executive leadership on portfolio management, resource allocation, and long-term investments that support meaningful security and customer outcomes. Prepare strategic documentation, evidence of achievements, presentations, and review materials to support portfolio calibration and executive decision-making. Influence organizational structure and cross-team operating models while fostering transparency, collaboration, and accountability across the broader product and security organization. Requirements: Bring 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years at director level or an equivalent senior leadership position managing complex, cross-functional teams and enterprise security products at scale. Have 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with deep expertise in threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, security research, or closely related disciplines. Demonstrate a proven record of taking products from strategy through successful market launch, with measurable outcomes related to revenue, customer adoption, market expansion, or other meaningful business results. Possess strong executive presence and the ability to communicate credibly with both highly technical and non-technical audiences about cybersecurity strategy, emerging threats, product innovation, and investment priorities. Demonstrate substantial knowledge of threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, and security research practices, particularly their application to enterprise product development. Understand emerging AI technologies and their applications in cybersecurity; familiarity with conversational AI, large language models, and machine learning for threat intelligence or detection is a plus. Bring experience working with managed security services, managed detection and response, security operations centers, threat intelligence programs, or related cybersecurity environments. Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in fast-growing technology organizations or security research and innovation environments focused on emerging threats and technologies. Have strong strategic planning, prioritization, portfolio management, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex technical strategies into clear initiatives and measurable objectives. Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including the ability to build alignment across Security Research, Engineering, Product, Sales, Go-to-Market, and executive leadership. Bring a collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring product leaders, influencing organizational decisions, and driving execution across matrixed teams. An active professional network or presence within cybersecurity, threat intelligence, security research, or relevant industry communities is desirable. Benefits: Base salary range of 164,000–287,000 CAD annually for the applicable job family, with actual compensation varying based on skills, experience, location, and job-family level. Variable incentive compensation in addition to base salary. New-hire equity grants and equity opportunities for employees. Comprehensive private benefits covering medical, mental health, dental, disability, life, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, along with value-added services. RRSP contributions and matching. Flexible time off and paid volunteer days. Family-forming benefits, enhanced maternity benefits, and paid parental leave. Robust Employee Assistance Program with mental health services. Training and career development programs supporting ongoing professional growth. Remote work availability within the United States or Canada, subject to applicable location and legal-entity requirements. Opportunity to work on complex cybersecurity challenges involving threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, and emerging AI technologies.
