About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer to join our Electronics team in Munich as a full-time employee. We are working on challenging projects that require rigorous analytical skills, practical experience and understanding of firmware as well. Our diverse team covers all disciplines of mechatronic product development. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with our experienced engineers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop and Validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Perform reviews of schematics and designs
  • Design and use in-house testing devices
  • Select and integrate electronic components (motors, drivers, sensors, power systems) for optimal performance
  • Contribute to the schematics and design of products
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation (BOMs, test procedures, compliance reports)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Electric/Electronics issues in existing robotic systems
  • Create test cases for the electronics subsystem
  • Work hands-on with the target hardware and the robot system
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for production
  • Collaborate closely with FW/SW and mechanics teams

Essential Skills

  • Capability to work and communicate in English
  • Strong expertise in motor control systems (PMSM)
  • Knowledge of power electronics (DC/DC converters, battery management)
  • Understanding of communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
  • Ability to perform signal analysis and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
  • Knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applications
  • Experience with thermal management of power electronics
  • Hands-on experience building electronics
  • Knowledge of microcontroller programming
  • Experience with harness design and cable management for moving systems
  • Proficient in using Altium Designer

  • Experience with writing requirements, test case specifications and test implementation
  • Worked on functional safety projects in the past
  • Experience with common SW engineering tools e.g., git
