We believe that everyone has the right to own and control their data, and we are committed to creating a trusted digital credentials ecosystem that empowers businesses and individuals to securely exchange data and services across borders and industries.   About the role:   We are seeking a  Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager  with deep expertise in  backend systems (TypeScript, microservices, cloud)  to lead multiple engineering teams building the  Affinidi Elements platform. While you will manage and support teams working across the full stack (backend, frontend, platform infrastructure), your technical depth and demonstrated experience in backend engineering will be crucial in guiding architecture, ensuring quality, and driving technical strategy.  This role blends  people leadership  with  technical leadership : you will grow high-performing fullstack teams, define best practices across the stack, and remain hands-on in critical technical decisions to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and performant.  Our work culture at  Affinidi  is shaped by the following tenets:     We are unapologetically customer-focused   We invest in cultures and teams to enable high performance   Embraces experimentation and builds fast   We have the courage to be misunderstood   We work together to unlock data What’s in it for you:    Lead multiple engineering teams, providing  vision, direction, and coaching  to managers, staff engineers, and senior ICs  Drive  engineering execution and on-time delivery  of secure, performant, and customer-centric systems  Oversee and contribute to the design and development of  high-scale, high-performance distributed production systems   Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to define and execute the  technology roadmap   Establish and evolve  engineering best practices, delivery processes, and quality standards  to scale effectively  Mentor and develop engineering leaders, fostering  career growth, leadership depth, and technical excellence   Stay ahead of  emerging technologies , bringing innovative approaches to improve scalability, architecture, and developer experience  Champion  privacy by design ,  security-first principles , and high-quality engineering across backend and frontend systems  You will be a great match if you:    Proven track record of leading engineering organizations in global, high-growth environments while driving on-time delivery of high-quality systems at scale  Possess strong  leadership skills : coaching, mentoring, developing leaders, and fostering high-performing, inclusive teams  Are skilled at balancing  strategic vision  with  practical execution , aligning engineering teams with business outcomes  Possess strong knowledge of  TypeScript/Node.js ;  Dart experience is preferred; familiarity with C#, Go, or similar is a plus  Have experience with  React/Next.js  and/or Flutter , demonstrates solid understanding of modern web and/or mobile development practices  Demonstrate proven success in  designing, deploying, and scaling microservices  in cloud environments, specifically, Amazon Web Services (AWS)  Advocate for  privacy, security, cryptography , and resilient system design; experience with  asynchronous cryptography and identity/authentication domains  is a strong plus  Are skilled at balancing  technical leadership  and  people leadership , growing teams while staying engaged in critical technical decisions  Excel at  cross-functional collaboration  with product, design, and security stakeholders  Thrive in  fast-moving startup environments , building autonomous teams that experiment, learn, and deliver at speed  Bonus points:    Experience working across functions, locations, and time zones  Backend expertise in RUST  Expertise in decentralized identity solutions  Experience building systems with advanced cryptography requirements  What can you expect from us:    Hybrid working model   Flexible working hours   Unlimited vacation policy   Competitive compensation package   Work within international environment   Learning Budget   Mobile Allowance   Home Office Allowance   Urban Sport Membership  Sounds like you?
