Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer based in United States. This is a senior enterprise technology role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of a diverse SaaS and business applications ecosystem. You will oversee critical platforms that support collaboration, productivity, HR, finance, security, and AI-enabled workflows across the organization. The role combines hands-on application expertise with strategic ownership of procurement, vendor management, security, compliance, governance, and optimization. You will work closely with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, and other business and technical stakeholders to ensure applications remain reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective. You will also evaluate emerging AI tools and help shape responsible enterprise adoption. This is an opportunity to drive automation, operational excellence, and technology improvements within a fast-moving, globally distributed environment.

Own the complete lifecycle of enterprise SaaS applications, from technology evaluation and procurement through implementation, optimization, renewal, and eventual retirement. Manage a broad portfolio of critical enterprise platforms, including collaboration, productivity, HR, finance, security, and AI-driven applications such as Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Miro, and DocuSign. Lead SaaS procurement and vendor management activities, including contract negotiations, renewals, licensing, cost optimization, and ongoing vendor performance management. Coordinate application testing, onboarding, and rollout activities, ensuring that new and existing tools satisfy business requirements as well as security, compliance, privacy, and operational standards. Partner with Security, Legal, Privacy, AI, SOX, and Compliance teams to conduct vendor risk assessments, security reviews, audits, and governance activities across the application portfolio. Evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms, monitor market developments, and provide recommendations regarding enterprise adoption, security, compliance, and responsible use. Maintain strong security, compliance, data integrity, and governance practices across managed enterprise applications and ensure risks are identified and addressed proactively. Support SaaS-related Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, including maintaining documentation and participating in relevant reviews, audits, and testing activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate repetitive activities, optimize application usage, and increase efficiency across the SaaS ecosystem. Lead cross-functional enterprise initiatives and act as a central point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other partners. Establish and maintain application support, documentation, governance, and operational processes that promote reliability, scalability, and consistent service delivery. Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels and independently drive initiatives from initial concept and evaluation through implementation and ongoing optimization. Requirements: Bring 5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, SaaS portfolio management, enterprise IT, or a closely related field, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of business-critical applications. Have strong hands-on experience managing enterprise SaaS platforms such as Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Miro, DocuSign, or comparable enterprise technologies. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the full SaaS lifecycle, including technology evaluation, procurement, implementation, onboarding, optimization, renewals, licensing, and decommissioning. Have experience partnering closely with Security, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, SOX, and other governance functions to manage application risks and requirements. Possess solid knowledge of AI tools and platforms, including the ability to assess their business value, security implications, compliance requirements, and governance considerations. Demonstrate proven experience managing vendors, contracts, licensing, renewals, and commercial relationships at enterprise scale. Bring strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple applications, initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously. Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrate a proactive, ownership-oriented approach and the ability to independently lead initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Be comfortable identifying operational improvements, implementing automation, and establishing scalable processes that improve reliability and efficiency. Be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide appropriate employment eligibility documentation as required. Benefits: Base compensation range of $147,200–$183,900 USD, with final compensation determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications, level, and geographic location. 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and families. 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match and immediate vesting. 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers. Up to $85 per month in remote work reimbursement for mobile and internet expenses. Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance. Career growth and learning opportunities within a fast-moving technology environment. Flexibility and meaningful ownership over enterprise technology initiatives. Opportunity to work on impactful AI-related projects and emerging enterprise technologies. Collaboration with international teams in a globally distributed and innovative environment. Remote work arrangement within the United States.
