Senior European Credit Research Analyst

Overview   The Insights product is an offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, now in its 9 th  year, that offers teleconferences, surveys, in-person events, along with a plethora of AI-facilitated data and content. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e. private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals.  What You’ll Do:  Conduct bottoms-up company research including reviewing earnings releases, reading investor presentations and analyzing regulatory filings  Moderate teleconferences on timely topics featuring an expert from Guidepoint’s network with the goal of producing actionable insights for buy-side and PE clients  Work with our AI team to systematize diligence questions with the goals of automating certain fundamental research solutions  Generate ideas and follow key investor views among relevant strategies within European credit  Can be an in-person position or a fully remote work-from-home position  What You Have:   Must possess exceptional written and spoken English skills at a professional level Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree 7 years or more of deep fundamental analyst experience ideally in a Private Equity setting Must follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research focusing on individual companies Has prior experience covering single name corporates on either the sell-side or buy-side.  Some familiarity with capital structure or credit analysis, via the Broadly Syndicated Loan or Private Credit / Direct Lending markets.
