This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Excitation Engineer - Nuclear based in United States. As a Senior Excitation Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority for excitation control systems supporting a global nuclear power fleet. You will shape modernization, reliability, obsolescence management, and life-extension strategies for critical excitation technologies. The role combines advanced power electronics and power-system engineering with rigorous nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will lead complex technical investigations, including root-cause analysis of high-priority system disturbances affecting nuclear facilities. Working across engineering, field services, commercial, regulatory, and customer teams, you will provide expert guidance on complex projects and outages. You will also mentor senior engineering talent and help preserve specialized excitation expertise across the organization. This remote-eligible U.S. opportunity offers meaningful technical ownership, global exposure, and the chance to influence the reliability of critical baseload power assets.
