Nium's growing card issuance business is already available in 34 countries. About the Role:
The Senior Finance Analyst supports the monthly close, audits, and reporting across our global entities.
Proactive team partner act as the key point of contact and support for specific international entity/entities.
Maintain up to date record of compliance calendar across all entities and regions. Ensure data availability of across entities to ensure compliance and regulatory information is met.
Liaise with other teams, Banking Team, Operations, Tax etc to coordinate requirements, flow of information and improvement of processes.
Assist in preparation of monthly financials – Income Statement and Balance sheet for all entities and at consol level.
Review of Bank Reconciliations at monthly intervals.
Perform variance analysis, accruals and provisions for expenses and revenue.
Maintain Audit readiness for all entities each month.
Assist in preparation of Cash Forecast for current and future months.
Assist in migration of financials to NetSuite for new entities.
Focus on streamlining, automation and effectiveness of processes.
Qualified CA with min 4+ years’ experience in public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC.
In-depth knowledge of accounting is a must. Should be technically strong with solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards is required.
Knowledge of other foreign local GAAP is advantageous.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.
