Full job description

WHO WE ARE

Ovoko is transforming Europe’s €30B+ used car parts market - a massive, fragmented industry still largely offline. We connect 7,000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and dismantlers with millions of buyers through our marketplace, SaaS and logistics platform, making it effortless to trade parts across borders. With over 42 million parts listed, we’ve grown into one of Europe’s fastest-scaling e-commerce companies, but the real opportunity lies ahead, as we build a real category-defining platform worldwide.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a hands-on FP&A professional to be fully embedded in business areas that match strategic priorities at Ovoko. This is a senior individual-contributor role where you’ll work alongside the business area leader and act as the finance partner for performance metrics, analytics, resource allocation and key decisions. You’ll own your area, form independent views, and be the person business leaders turn to before a big call gets made. Some questions will arrive before the data or process exists; you’ll define the problem and recommend a path forward.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Act as a fully embedded finance partner to senior business leaders - developing a deep understanding of business drivers, challenging assumptions, and translating financial and operational performance into actionable recommendations.

Take ownership of budget and forecast development and maintenance, as well as financial performance management for your business area.

Own high-priority financial and operational questions from problem framing through analysis, to recommendation and follow-through - proactively identifying and flagging risks, opportunities and trade-offs early.

Build the reporting, metrics and data foundations for your area where none exist yet - defining what should be measured, sourcing the data, and creating the first workable version yourself.

Lead the development, tracking and evaluation of strategic initiatives, business cases, investment requirements and returns.

Influence resource allocation and prioritization in the assigned business area by comparing alternative uses of capital and capacity.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

5+ years’ experience in finance (FP&A, big four, investment banking or similar) and/or management consulting with a strong hands-on financial modelling capability.

Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.

Creative problem-solver with high attention to detail, comfortable working independently and across functions.

Eager to understand the operational detail by working closely with the business.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity, including when the problem, decision criteria or required data are not yet clearly defined.

Comfortable presenting financial insights to senior business leaders.

Continuous improvement mindset, including process streamlining and task automation.

Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and data manipulation.

SALARY

The offered salary range is €4,500 - €5,500 gross per month. We are also open to discussing your expectations based on your competencies and experience.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Private health insurance • Employee stock option plan (ESOP) • Learning budget for your personal and professional growth • Commuting perks (covered parking or public transport to choose from) • Everyday snacks and drinks • Onsite gym • Top-notch hardware and software (MacOS or Windows to choose from) • The opportunity to work from anywhere up to 30 days per year • Employee referral program
