About The Role

This Funding & Partnership role is responsible for establishing, managing, and strengthening strategic relationships with external funding partners, particularly banks, while ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders across Risk, Tech, Legal, and Compliance.

This role acts as a critical bridge between external partners and internal teams, translating business needs into actionable initiatives and ensuring alignment across all parties. It plays a pivotal role in driving funding strategy execution, onboarding new partners, and maintaining sustainable, well-governed partnerships.

In addition, the role requires strong project management and documentation capabilities to support partner onboarding, track progress, and ensure all communications and agreements are well-structured and traceable.

Key responsibilities

Partnership Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external funding partners, especially banking institutions

Serve as the primary point of contact for partner communications and engagement

Ensure long-term partnership sustainability aligned with company funding strategy

Support periodic review and adjustment of funding strategies based on partner performance and market conditions

Establish and enforce business guardrails to maintain disciplined partnership management

Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers for new partner onboarding process

Internal Stakeholder Alignment

Facilitate clear communication, requirement gathering, and expectation management across stakeholders (Risk, Tech, Legal, and Compliance)

Ensure internal readiness and alignment for any partnership initiatives

Documentation & Process Excellence

Maintain comprehensive and structured documentation for all partnership-related activities

Track key decisions, agreements, and communications for transparency and audit readiness

Continuously improve processes for efficiency and scalability

What You Will Need

Experience & Background

5+ years of experience in funding, partnerships, corporate finance, or financial institutions

Prior experience working with banks or lending institutions is highly preferred

Experience in fintech or consumer lending is a strong advantage

Strong ability to manage both external and internal stakeholders across multiple functions

Proven ability to bridge communication gaps and align diverse interest

Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects with clear timelines and deliverables

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in tracking progress and documentation

Strong documentation discipline with the ability to structure complex information clearly

Ability to connect partnership activities with broader funding strategy

Comfortable working with data to support decision-making and performance evaluation
