Your Role: The Senior General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Company's general ledger and ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This role plays a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, supports SEC reporting, external audits, SOX compliance, and assists with implementing process improvements and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in U.S. GAAP, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and document journal entries and supporting documentation. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Work with other departments to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accruals. Work closely with international teams for monthly financial reporting and consolidations. Perform quarterly financial statement flux analysis. Prepare account reconciliations for assigned areas in a timely manner. Liaise with internal and external audit for mid-year and year-end audit support. Improve accounting processes through automation and standardization. Perform other related accounting duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role. Experience with month-end and quarter-end close Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Public company and SOX 404 experience is preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
