This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Human Resource Associate, Shared Service Centre based in India. This role supports critical HR operations for an international workforce within a fast-growing, remote-first environment. You will manage key employee lifecycle activities, from onboarding and documentation through benefits, payroll coordination, transfers, and offboarding. The position combines operational HR expertise with close collaboration across customers, professionals, vendors, and internal teams. You will help ensure employee data, documentation, and payroll inputs remain accurate, timely, and compliant. The role also offers opportunities to improve processes, maintain effective SOPs, and introduce AI-enabled tools into everyday workflows. Success requires strong attention to detail, customer service, stakeholder management, and the ability to work effectively across regions and time zones.
Manage key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, data management, absence management, visa renewals, transfers, and offboarding. Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as employment contracts, amendments, policies, benefits and payroll enrollment documents, onboarding guides, certificates, and termination documentation. Maintain accurate employee and customer records, ensuring HR forms and status changes are properly documented within the HR platform. Administer employee benefits in collaboration with brokers, insurers, and other relevant service providers. Provide accurate payroll inputs, including time and expense information, while coordinating closely with payroll teams and local payroll providers. Conduct audits and data checks to support accurate and timely payroll processing and identify potential discrepancies. Communicate clearly with professionals and customers to resolve HR queries, explain processes, and provide a high standard of service. Liaise with insurance, payroll, pension, and other local service providers, as well as internal stakeholders, to ensure smooth coordination. Follow established SLAs and SOPs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and keeping HR processes and documentation up to date. Act as a key point of contact for professionals and customers throughout onboarding and offboarding activities. Requirements 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, with Shared Service Centre experience being desirable. Strong knowledge of HR procedures and policies, with basic familiarity with employment legislation across the EMEA region considered an advantage. Previous experience working in a shared services environment and handling structured, process-driven HR operations. Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly across different communication settings. Good proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence working with HR systems and digital platforms. A proactive, test-and-learn mindset and the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and AI-enabled tools in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated AI literacy, including the ability to use generative AI tools such as Gemini and NotebookLM to improve efficiency and output quality. Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness, combined with excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to work effectively within international, multicultural teams and collaborate across different locations. Flexibility to accommodate different time zones according to customer and professional needs. Experience managing employee offboarding processes is an added advantage.
