This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior IMS Systems Programmer (IBM IMS Tools & Database Administration) based in United States. This senior technical role provides specialized systems programming and database administration support across enterprise IBM z/OS environments. You will help maintain, configure, modernize, and troubleshoot critical IMS systems and related mainframe technologies. The position offers broad exposure to IMS, DB2, CICS, IBM and ISV products, and complex migration initiatives. You will contribute to installations, product conversions, database migrations, and modernization programs while ensuring stable and reliable production environments. The role also involves working directly with customers and technical teams to understand requirements and develop effective solutions. Success requires deep mainframe expertise, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
