ABOUT THE ROLE Join the engineering team at a seed-stage AI supply chain software company, building the integrations that connect its platform to customers' operational data. You will own reliable data flows between customer systems and the platform, helping teams make and execute better supply chain decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain integrations with ERPs, data warehouses, object storage, and custom systems.
- Design reliable, near-real-time syncs that process large volumes of customer data with minimal manual intervention.
- Investigate third-party APIs and build connectors that handle their limitations and undocumented behavior.
- Write end-to-end tests for data read, update, and write workflows to prevent data loss.
- Validate and reconcile data, and build monitoring and alerting to detect and attribute failures.
- Work directly with customers and their IT teams to scope, deliver, and operate integrations.
- Improve the integration layer so new data sources can be added through configuration where possible. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years building and shipping production data pipelines and integrations in Python, with senior-level ownership of complex production work.
- Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and advanced SQL, including high-performance queries and bulk upserts at scale.
- Deep experience integrating third-party systems through REST, SOAP, and query-language APIs, including OAuth, pagination, rate limits, and credential management.
- Experience designing idempotent, auditable pipelines and safe write paths with dry runs and failure capture.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, and background task orchestration frameworks such as Temporal or similar.
- Experience with operational logging, sync tracking, and alerting, plus comfort working directly with customers.
- ERP integrations, NetSuite, AWS, and unstructured data ingestion are useful additional experience. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in New York, United States.
