Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager based in United States . As a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will help build and scale a sophisticated lifecycle marketing engine across a broad portfolio of container and AI-focused products. You will own lifecycle programs across activation, engagement, retention, and renewal, working with audiences ranging from individual users to administrators. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, from audience validation and campaign development to QA, launch monitoring, and reporting. You will work closely with data, sales, renewals, growth engineering, design, and agency partners to keep programs moving efficiently. A key part of the role is translating technical product signals and usage behaviors into credible, useful messaging for developer and admin audiences. You will also help bring structure to a rapidly expanding roadmap and turn priorities into scalable, measurable programs.
Build and scale lifecycle programs: Own and develop lifecycle campaigns across email and in-product channels, supporting users and administrators across container and AI-oriented products and lifecycle stages. Run large-scale programmatic campaigns: Design and execute recurring, high-volume campaigns against a marketable audience in the tens of millions, working within the existing marketing automation environment and supporting an anticipated platform transition. Automate lead and renewal motions: Build and manage automated first-touch programs for product-qualified leads and inbound prospects, partnering closely with business development and renewals stakeholders. Validate audiences and behavioral signals: Work with data and growth engineering teams to access relevant product-usage signals, audit record-level data, validate targeting logic, and ensure campaign audiences are accurate before launch. Manage contact governance: Maintain suppression lists, contact governance rules, and targeting controls to ensure communications reach the appropriate audiences without excessive messaging. Own campaign QA and launch operations: Conduct pre-send QA, live proofs, launch monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting, including resolving issues involving data integrations or campaign dependencies. Translate technical signals into effective messaging: Convert product usage patterns, adoption events, feature engagement, and other technical signals into messaging that is relevant and credible to developers and administrators. Shape and sequence the lifecycle roadmap: Turn a growing set of priorities into structured themes, build queues, and sequenced roadmaps while identifying capacity constraints and dependencies early. Coordinate creative and external partners: Collaborate with design and agency partners to maintain campaign quality, consistency, and delivery timelines. Operationalize reporting: Establish consistent naming, tracking, and reporting practices that provide visibility into active programs, upcoming initiatives, and measurable business impact. Requirements: Lifecycle marketing expertise: Demonstrated experience specifically in lifecycle marketing, ideally within a product-led growth, self-serve, SaaS, or technology environment rather than solely in growth or demand generation. End-to-end program ownership: Proven ability to own campaigns from strategy and audience definition through build, QA, launch, and optimization, with experience delivering measurable improvements in activation, retention, or renewal outcomes. Marketing automation experience: Hands-on experience building campaigns in Marketo or an equivalent marketing automation platform, including audience creation, campaign setup, suppressions, contact governance, QA, live proofs, and launch monitoring. Data and targeting validation: Comfortable partnering directly with data teams to validate record-level information and targeting logic. The ability to audit segments and identify data-quality issues is important; SQL experience is a plus but not required. Technical-to-message translation: Experience turning technical products, usage signals, or behavioral data into clear and credible messaging for developers, administrators, or other technically sophisticated audiences. Technical familiarity: Comfortable navigating developer ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, or complex multi-product technology environments. Independent senior-level ownership: Strong judgment, initiative, and organizational skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, structure competing priorities, and independently drive programs from concept through execution. Cross-functional collaboration: Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across marketing, sales, renewals, data, engineering, design, and external partners. Benefits: Competitive compensation: Canada-based compensation of CA$160,300–CA$229,000 plus equity . Equity participation: Equity is provided to full-time employees, allowing employees to share in the organization's long-term growth. Fully remote work: Remote-first role with the flexibility to work from home. Flexible working environment: Autonomy to manage your schedule while maintaining accountability for results and delivery. Generous time off: Paid time off, quarterly wellness days, and a designated year-end wellness break. Home office support: Resources to help create a comfortable and effective home working environment. Technology stipend: Equivalent to US$100 net per month to support work-related technology needs. Learning and development: Annual support for conferences, courses, certifications, and other professional development opportunities. Parental leave: 16 weeks of paid parental leave after six months of employment. Comprehensive benefits: Medical, retirement, and paid holiday benefits vary according to country and applicable local programs. Additional perks: Company merchandise and opportunities to collaborate within a globally distributed, remote-first environment. Important eligibility note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
