Senior Manager, DCI Delivery (CoLo)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join Nscale as the senior manager for our colocation-based facilities overseeing mission-critical data center construction programs. This individual holds accountability for schedule, budget, quality, safety, and risk across all active project sites, and provides direct oversight to the General Construction Manager(s), Preconstruction Manager, Construction Scheduler, Cost Manager, and EHS Manager supporting the program. The ideal candidate has led complex, multi-site or large single-site data center programs and can translate Nscale's strategic priorities into consistent execution standards across teams and project sites, while serving as the primary escalation point when issues exceed site-level authority. Key Responsibilities Provide senior-level oversight of the overall construction program on behalf of Nscale, directly supervising the General Construction Manager(s), Preconstruction Manager, Construction Scheduler, Cost Manager, and EHS Manager Serve as the primary escalation point for schedule, cost, quality, and safety issues that exceed site-level authority Own the master program schedule and budget; report program status, risk, and financial performance directly to the Director and executive stakeholders Review and approve significant change orders, claims, and contract modifications prior to Nscale sign-off Chair OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and represent Nscale in key negotiations with General Contractors, design teams, and vendors Mentor and develop direct reports; establish and enforce consistent reporting standards, documentation practices, and quality expectations across all sites Preserve the independence of the program controls and safety functions, ensuring the Construction Scheduler, Cost Manager, and EHS Manager can escalate concerns without site-level interference Coordinate cross-project resources, staffing, and vendor allocation to meet program-wide priorities and deadlines Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes at the program level, ensuring consistency and completeness across sites Manage relationships with Nscale leadership, investors, and executive stakeholders; deliver periodic program-level updates and briefings Identify and mitigate program-level risks, including schedule slippage, cost overruns, supply chain disruptions, and resource conflicts Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety standards, and quality requirements across the full project portfolio Qualifications Required 10+ years of construction management experience, including 5+ years overseeing data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial programs Demonstrated experience directly managing General Construction Managers, program controls (scheduling and cost) functions, EHS leadership, and multi-site subcontractor teams Strong command of program-level scheduling (CPM), budget and cost control, and contract administration Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret full construction document sets across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines OSHA 30 certification required Valid driver's license; ability to travel between multiple project sites as required Preferred Experience overseeing hyperscale, colocation, or Tier III/IV data center construction programs Familiarity with DCIM systems, raised floor environments, or critical power/cooling infrastructure at a portfolio level Experience with program-level reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) PMP, CCM, or equivalent credential Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus Character & Conduct What We Value Most: Character & Conduct Technical skills can be taught. Tools & Software Procore — program-wide project management, RFIs, submittals, daily reporting, and document control Bluebeam Revu — drawing markup, QA/QC overlays Microsoft Suite — Word, Excel, Outlook (required); MS Project or Primavera P6 (preferred) Power BI or equivalent — program-level reporting and dashboarding (preferred) Work Environment & Schedule Full-time role with regular travel across multiple project sites; on-site presence required as needed, particularly during critical milestones Schedule flexibility required to support program needs across sites, teams, and time zones Active construction environment when on-site — PPE required at all times This is a full-time Nscale position. As Nscale's data center program pipeline grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional sites or programs. The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.
