This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineer (FSI) based in United States. This role offers an opportunity to lead and scale a high-performing solutions engineering organization focused on Financial Services and Insurance. You will combine people leadership, technical selling, AI expertise, and industry knowledge to support complex enterprise opportunities. The position involves building repeatable pre-sales strategies, developing talent, and partnering closely with sales and customer success teams. You will help customers navigate sophisticated technical, regulatory, and business requirements while demonstrating the value of innovative technology solutions. Success requires strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to translate complex technology into compelling customer outcomes. You will also influence product direction by bringing market feedback and customer needs to product and engineering teams.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus. Build scalable pre-sales methodologies and repeatable best practices that enable consistent performance across a high-volume FSI segment. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing Solutions Engineering talent with strong technical expertise and communication skills. Partner closely with regional sales leaders, Account Executives, and Customer Success teams to align pipeline strategy, account coverage, and customer outcomes. Support complex enterprise opportunities by providing technical leadership throughout the sales cycle and helping teams navigate customer requirements, procurement processes, and regulatory considerations. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and help resolve feature requests and support escalations. Work with Professional Services to ensure effective transitions from pre-sales through implementation and value realization. Establish and manage team KPIs, performance metrics, and forecast accuracy, using data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Participate in sales forecast reviews, provide visibility into technical deal status, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies with sales leadership. Build trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders, helping remove roadblocks, manage escalations, and support long-term customer success. Promote effective use of AI-powered solutions and technical selling practices across the team. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales, including 3–5+ years of experience managing and developing teams. Deep expertise in Financial Services and Insurance, with demonstrated experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, procurement processes, and regulatory environments. Strong understanding of relevant compliance and security standards, such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FINRA, and HIPAA. Hands-on experience with AI-powered SaaS solutions; experience applying AI within customer experience, contact center, or related environments is a strong advantage. Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams and establish repeatable solutions engineering and pre-sales processes. Strong technical acumen and the ability to engage credibly with technical buyers while translating complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Experience in Contact Center, Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), or Customer Experience (CX) technology is preferred. Strong consulting mindset, with the ability to ask insightful questions, listen carefully, understand customer objectives, and prioritize long-term outcomes. Excellent communication and executive presence, with confidence engaging C-level stakeholders and managing complex escalations. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Passion for coaching and developing others, combined with a genuine interest in helping customers solve complex business and technology challenges. Benefits: On-target earnings (OTE) range of $220,000–$330,000. Eligibility for long-term incentives through equity. Eligibility for short-term incentives through bonus or commission, depending on role and level. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Life and disability insurance. Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 401(k) retirement plan. Uncapped paid time off for exempt employees, subject to manager approval and business needs.
