Full job description
The role leads the Vaccine Independence Initiative and related financing tools, develops and negotiates financing transactions, manages financial and operational risk, oversees capital utilisation and forecasting, strengthens financing processes and systems, mobilises resources and manages a team delivering supply-financing interventions.
Requirements & qualifications
An advanced university degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field is required, together with at least ten years of progressively responsible managerial experience in complex financing initiatives or instruments. Candidates need demonstrated experience with health-supply markets, transaction design and risk, domestic-resource mobilisation or credit recovery, and strong financial-modelling capability. Proficiency in English is required.
