Full job description
The role provides strategic leadership for the Vaccine Independence Initiative and other supply-financing tools, develops bridge and risk-financing interventions, originates and negotiates transactions, manages financial risk and capital utilization, oversees demand forecasting and underwriting, leads a team, and works with donors, countries and partners on resource mobilization and domestic financing.
Requirements & qualifications
An advanced university degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field is required. Applicants need at least ten years of progressively responsible managerial experience in complex financing operations such as loan facilities, revolving funds, credit facilities, sovereign financing or other supply-financing instruments, plus experience with market dynamics for health supplies and domestic-resource or credit-recovery work. Proficiency in English is required.
