Senior Motion Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Motion Designer based in United Kingdom. As a Senior Motion Designer, you’ll take ownership of motion projects from initial concept through final delivery, creating work that brings products and ideas to life. You’ll produce engaging marketing videos, motion graphics, and product animations across a fast-moving creative environment. Working closely with marketing and product teams, you’ll turn early concepts and loose briefs into polished, high-impact visual experiences. You’ll also play a key role in defining and evolving the visual motion language of the brand. This is an opportunity to combine strong design craft with creative direction and significant autonomy. You’ll join a remote-first team where expectations are high, execution is fast, and your creative contribution can have a direct impact.

Own motion design projects end-to-end, from ideation and storyboarding through production, refinement, and delivery. Create high-quality marketing videos, motion graphics, product animations, and other visual content. Partner closely with marketing and product teams to develop concepts and translate ideas into compelling creative executions. Transform loose or high-level briefs into polished, production-ready motion work. Define, establish, and continuously evolve the organization’s motion design style and creative standards. Balance hands-on design execution with creative direction, ensuring consistency and quality across projects. Contribute creative ideas and visual approaches that strengthen product communication and brand storytelling. Requirements 7+ years of professional experience in motion design or a closely related creative discipline. Strong work ethic, high agency, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable operating as both a hands-on designer and a creative director, depending on project needs. Proven ability to take ambiguous or loosely defined briefs and turn them into polished, compelling work. Deep expertise in Adobe After Effects and strong knowledge of motion design workflows. Experience with 3D design and animation is desirable. Familiarity with Figma and Lottie or Rive, or a strong willingness to learn and adopt new tools. Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high bar for quality, speed, and execution. Benefits Base salary: $60,000–$100,000 USD. Equity: $20,000–$30,000 USD. Contract type: B2B.
