Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Organic Analytics Manager based in the United States. This role will lead analytical strategy and execution across organic search, AI-powered discovery, digital experience, and conversion performance. You will connect search visibility and website behavior to leads, applications, and enrollments to uncover meaningful business opportunities. The position combines advanced data analysis, measurement design, data quality, and executive storytelling. You will work closely with SEO, AEO, digital experience, CRO, CRM, data engineering, and analytics teams in a highly collaborative environment. A key focus will be building scalable measurement approaches that replace manual reporting with reliable, decision-ready insights. You will also evaluate initiatives, migrations, and experiments to determine what is driving performance changes and whether results can be attributed to specific actions. Success requires strong analytical judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that influence strategic decisions.

Lead recurring performance analysis across SEO, AI search/AEO, website and digital experience performance, and the organic funnel, identifying trends, drivers, concentrations, opportunities, and risks. Analyze organic search performance using GA4, Google Search Console, SEO platforms, and related datasets, including traffic, impressions, clicks, CTR, rankings, visibility, landing-page performance, and branded versus non-branded demand. Develop AEO measurement frameworks covering AI visibility, citations, share of voice, prompts and topics, search-engine performance, AI referral traffic, competitive positioning, and downstream business outcomes. Design measurement approaches for SEO, AEO, DXP, and CRO initiatives, establishing baselines, intervention dates, comparison groups, matched controls, and post-launch analyses where appropriate. Connect organic and AI discovery to website behavior, leads, applications, and enrollments, distinguishing traffic-driven changes from conversion-driven changes and evaluating site migrations, releases, and CRO initiatives. Reconcile data across GA4, Google Search Console, SEO/AEO platforms, CRM systems, and intervention records, investigating anomalies and identifying tracking, taxonomy, or data-quality issues. Define KPI logic, business requirements, reporting specifications, analytical views, change logs, and data-quality requirements in partnership with analytics and data engineering teams. Translate complex analyses into concise, decision-ready insights that explain what happened, why it happened, where performance is concentrated, and what actions should follow. Partner with analytics solutions and engineering teams to develop scalable reporting and data workflows, reducing reliance on repetitive manual analysis and spreadsheet-based processes. Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of organic analytics reporting, ensuring insights are credible, useful, and aligned with leadership and stakeholder needs. Support measurement of pilots, experiments, migrations, and rollouts by appropriately considering baselines, uncertainty, confounding factors, comparison groups, and attribution limitations. Serve as the primary day-to-day analytics partner for organic search, AEO, content, and digital experience stakeholders while contributing to broader channel analytics priorities. Requirements: 6+ years of hands-on experience in digital/web analytics, organic or SEO analytics, marketing analytics, or a closely related data-driven field, with demonstrated ability to diagnose performance rather than simply produce reports. Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to independently pull, join, validate, and investigate complex web, marketing, and CRM datasets in cloud-based data environments. Strong proficiency with GA4 and Google Search Console, plus working knowledge of SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or comparable tools. Strong understanding of traffic sources, landing pages, events, funnels, rankings, visibility, search queries, content performance, and technical SEO concepts. Demonstrated expertise in funnel analytics, including connecting sessions and website behavior to leads, applications, enrollments, conversion rates, cohorts, maturation effects, and attribution or identity-resolution limitations. Strong data-quality, analytical-diagnosis, and executive-storytelling capabilities, with the ability to distinguish genuine performance changes from tracking or taxonomy issues. Experience defining KPIs, business requirements, analytical specifications, and reporting requirements for BI or analytics teams. Strong Excel skills and sufficient data-visualization expertise to design effective reporting without necessarily serving as the production dashboard developer. Working knowledge of experimentation and causal measurement concepts, including pre/post analysis, control or matched-comparison groups, confounding, statistical significance, uncertainty, correlation, and attribution limitations. Familiarity with AI and generative-search analytics, including AI visibility, citations, mentions, prompts, prompt themes, share of voice, source attribution, AI referrals, zero-click discovery, and differences between AI engines is highly desirable. Experience with platforms or technologies such as Profound, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Semrush AI visibility tools, Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, Salesforce data, Power BI, GSC/API data, web scraping, or log-file analysis is a plus. Experience with deeper experimentation or causal-inference methods, such as matched controls, difference-in-differences, natural experiments, incrementality, or rollout measurement, is advantageous. Python or R experience for prompt and citation analysis, URL classification, topic clustering, or competitor analysis is valuable. Experience working with DXP/CRO teams or within higher education, high-consideration lead-generation, or similarly complex customer journeys is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. Benefits: Full-time, remote position within the United States. Opportunity to influence organic search, AI discovery, digital experience, and conversion analytics at scale. High-impact role connecting analytics directly to leads, applications, enrollments, and strategic business decisions. Collaborative environment with exposure to SEO, AEO, CRO, CRM, analytics, data engineering, and digital experience teams. Opportunity to work with modern analytics, cloud data, AI-search, and measurement technologies. Equal-opportunity workplace committed to diversity and inclusion. Professional growth opportunities through cross-functional collaboration and ownership of high-visibility analytical initiatives.
