We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in the engineering phase of large-scale onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience, with a strong focus on FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design. Experience working on ADNOC projects or with ADNOC group companies will be considered a significant advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules during the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
- Liaise with engineering disciplines, project management, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of planning activities.
- Ensure that planning and scheduling deliverables comply with project requirements, client specifications, and industry best practices.
- Perform critical path analysis, identify potential delays, and provide mitigation strategies.
- Regularly update and issue engineering progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves.
- Provide input for resource planning, man-hour forecasting, and progress measurement systems.
- Coordinate planning and progress review meetings with engineering and design teams.
- Evaluate and incorporate changes into the baseline schedule and assess impacts.
- Support in the preparation of monthly project reports and client presentations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling within the engineering phase of onshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Deep understanding of engineering workflows, deliverables, and document control processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, procedures, and reporting formats is highly desirable.
- Previous work experience on ADNOC projects or with ADNOC group companies is a strong advantage.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
