Join us on our mission to transform lives by simplifying money, together. THE ROLE: Monarch is looking for a senior product analyst to join our data team. In this role, you'll own how we measure the product and how we learn from it by setting the bar for experimental rigor, investigating user behavior to find what actually drives conversion and retention, and running our experimentation loop end to end. You will partner closely with peers on the data team and work with growth, product, and engineering teams, playing a crucial role in enabling us to make data-driven decisions. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Own A/B test design and analysis and partner with product managers on conclusions and recommendations
• Partner with the growth team across the full experimentation loop from generating and prioritizing ideas, sizing the opportunity, designing and analyzing the experiment, and folding learnings into the next round
• Analyze user behavior and dive into anomalies to understand changes in the business
• Partner with product and engineering teams on upcoming feature launches, defining the measurement approach and success metrics, and ensuring tracking events are in place
• Provide data and insight into business decisions and share results with broader company and leadership team
• Automate recurring workflows without sacrificing insight quality
• Build new datasets and pipelines while also helping to maintain/update our existing data infrastructure WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• At least 4 years in a product analyst (or similar) role, preferably at a growth stage company
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methodologies for A/B testing including designing experiments and analyzing their results
• You are naturally curious and comfortable with ambiguity. You think through the tradeoffs of speed and accuracy and can make recommendations on the best approach to solving a problem
• You can work with both technical and non-technical partners and translate requirements into actionable steps. You can comfortably explain technical topics and roadblocks to non-technical partners.
• Expert level SQL - you are comfortable not just with selecting data but with creating new tables, advanced features like window functions, and writing clear and succinct code
• Experience across a modern analytics stack. We use Amplitude and Statsig for product & experimentation and Snowflake, DBT, Hex, and Omni for BI.
• AI fluency - you are actively pushing the boundaries of AI and know when to use it and when it might introduce errors NICE TO HAVES:
