The ideal candidate will combine strong UX/UI design skills with strategic thinking, collaboration abilities, and a passion for solving challenging problems through thoughtful design.

Design System: Contribute to and maintain Filevine's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Design Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, review design work, and help establish best practices within the design team. User Research: Participate in and sometimes lead user research activities to validate design decisions and gather insights for future improvements. Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback and product metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing existing features and experiences.

Experience: 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or legal technology. Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered. Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience designing complex workflows. Technical Skills: Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite), understanding of design systems, and familiarity with front-end development principles. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, strong collaboration skills, and the capacity to give and receive constructive feedback. Domain Knowledge: Experience designing for professional users and complex workflows; familiarity with legal processes is a plus.
