Full job description
The role is initially for one year and may be extended based on performance and project requirements. Work includes earthquake-ground-motion considerations, linear and nonlinear earthquake analysis, structural design, and collaboration with research, mining and industry experts on technical, safety and operational assessment of former mining sites.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants should hold an M.E., M.Tech, M.S. or PhD in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and have the stated earthquake-analysis and structural-design knowledge. Candidates must meet IIT Madras nationality/eligibility rules stated in the advertisement.
