Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in India. This role sits at the center of strategic client engagements, ensuring complex projects move smoothly from planning through delivery. You will manage project plans, milestones, documentation, schedules, and stakeholder coordination for enterprise accounts. Working closely with delivery, solutions, and client-facing teams, you will help maintain strong execution and account health. The position requires confident judgment, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to resolve issues rather than simply escalate them. You will coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, including teams working across U.S. and India time zones. As an early member of the dedicated project management function, you will also help establish processes, templates, and best practices as the team grows. This is a senior individual contributor opportunity for an organized, ownership-driven project leader who thrives in complex professional services environments.
Own and manage project plans for assigned strategic accounts, including milestones, task tracking, dependencies, schedules, and delivery progress. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to keep projects aligned with agreed timelines and deliverables. Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for client project managers and coordinators, building productive and trusted working relationships. Coordinate logistics for in-person meetings, stakeholder syncs, executive business reviews, and account events across U.S. and India time zones. Maintain project documentation, including statements of work, change orders, functional and technical design documents, and contract approval workflows. Support delivery leadership with operational execution by identifying risks and blockers early and recommending practical solutions. Triage day-to-day project tickets and issues, resolving them directly where possible and engaging relevant delivery or technical stakeholders when needed. Monitor project health and communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and priorities clearly to internal stakeholders. Develop onboarding materials, documentation templates, standard operating procedures, and other resources to strengthen the project management practice. Capture and share lessons learned across accounts to continuously improve project delivery processes. Take ownership of issues and decisions, driving work through to completion rather than simply routing problems to others. Requirements: 5+ years of experience managing complex project or program plans for enterprise clients. Experience working with documentation-heavy, multi-stakeholder engagements involving statements of work, change orders, technical design documents, and contract-related workflows. Experience supporting enterprise clients, preferably within regulated industries such as financial services. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence coordinating across U.S. and India time zones. High-ownership and self-directed working style, with a demonstrated ability to investigate issues, make decisions, and drive resolution. Familiarity with project management platforms such as Rocketlane, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar tools. Experience in consulting, professional services, enterprise SaaS delivery, or a comparable client-facing environment is preferred. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and workstreams simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with both internal teams and client counterparts. Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with delivery, technical, and client-facing professionals. Based in Bengaluru, India, with availability for approximately 50% overlap with U.S. business hours, typically around 3 PM–11 PM IST, Monday through Friday. Benefits: 100% remote working model for candidates based in Bengaluru, India. Opportunity to work on strategic enterprise client engagements. Senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and decision-making responsibility. Exposure to complex project delivery, professional services, enterprise SaaS, and client relationship management. Opportunity to help build and shape a growing project management practice. Ability to develop project management processes, templates, documentation, and operating standards. Collaboration with cross-functional delivery, technical, and client-facing teams. Opportunity to work across U.S. and India time zones in a global environment. Professional development through exposure to complex enterprise projects and diverse stakeholder groups. Approximately 50% overlap with U.S. business hours to support international collaboration.
