Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Renewal Operations Manager based in United States. This role owns the operational engine that makes renewals predictable, measurable, and efficient at scale. You will serve as a strategic business partner to Renewals, shaping processes, tooling, forecasting, data, and operational workflows. The position combines revenue operations, analytics, systems thinking, and commercial judgment across complex renewal motions. You will improve the full renewal lifecycle, from identification and assignment through risk management, quoting, close, and post-renewal data quality. The role requires strong cross-functional influence across Revenue Technology, Finance, Analytics, Sales, and Customer Success. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead through ownership and influence rather than direct management responsibility. This is an ideal opportunity for an analytical, commercially minded operator who enjoys turning ambiguity into scalable processes and measurable business improvements.

Own and continuously improve the end-to-end renewal operating model, covering renewal identification and assignment, risk management, forecasting, quoting, closing, and post-renewal data hygiene. Develop and optimize operating cadences that guide renewal execution, improve efficiency, and establish consistent processes across the organization. Define, maintain, and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners, including gross and net retention, churn, downgrades, and the underlying drivers of renewal performance. Partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve CRM, subscription and entitlement records, quoting, orders, billing, reporting, and supporting data flows, translating business needs into requirements and validating solutions. Simplify and scale renewal workflows through automation, standardized processes, alerts, playbooks, and self-service insights that reduce manual work and improve execution consistency. Support renewals planning and capacity management through segmentation, coverage models, productivity assumptions, capacity modeling, target setting, and scenario planning. Own and mature the Renewal Operations case-management program, including intake, triage, routing, service-level visibility, resolution, and root-cause analysis for issues such as user migrations, duplicate records, ownership changes, compensation exceptions, CRM problems, and data issues. Document processes, mentor colleagues on renewal operations, and contribute the renewals perspective to broader Revenue Operations initiatives and cross-functional improvements. Requirements Proven experience in Renewals Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, management consulting, strategy, or a comparable analytical and problem-solving function, with demonstrated ownership of operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives. Hands-on experience with both consumption-based and subscription renewal motions, including renewal forecasting, retention reporting, and the contractual and operational mechanics involved in closing renewals. Strong critical-thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break ambiguous challenges into clear workstreams, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives through implementation. Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, the ability to build and validate models from scratch, and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations and actions. SQL or equivalent data-querying experience is preferred but not required. Strong systems-thinking capabilities and experience using Salesforce for pipeline and renewal reporting, with an understanding of how CRM, subscription and entitlement data, quoting, billing, and other go-to-market systems interact. Sound commercial judgment and familiarity with renewal complexities such as co-terming, amendments, expansions, downgrades, price changes, multiyear agreements, auto-renewals, procurement requirements, and approval policies. Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust with field teams, senior leadership, and technical stakeholders while influencing outcomes without direct authority. A curious, proactive, and action-oriented mindset, with the ability to learn new domains and tools quickly, turn insights into practical improvements, and ensure changes are adopted and sustained. Benefits United States base salary range of $104,800–$176,400 USD , excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits. Sales roles may be eligible for incentive compensation targeted at up to 100% of offered base salary; this role is positioned within operations rather than direct sales. Flexible, all-remote work environment. Benefits designed to support health, finances, and overall well-being. Flexible paid time off. Equity compensation and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Growth and Development Fund to support professional learning and development. Parental leave. Team Member Resource Groups. A values-driven environment emphasizing documentation, continuous iteration, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
