Senior Risk Analyst

Risk Assessment & Analysis

• Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across the Bank.
• Analyze financial, operational, and external risk factors that may impact business performance.
• Monitor trends, emerging risks, and market developments that could affect the Bank's risk profile.
• Support enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment exercises.

Enterprise Risk Management

• Maintain and support the Bank's risk inventory and risk management framework.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of the Risk Appetite Statement.
• Monitor adherence to approved risk appetite and escalate breaches where necessary.
• Support periodic reviews of key risk indicators and risk metrics.

Risk Governance & Controls

• Recommend practical risk mitigation strategies and control enhancements.
• Support management in addressing findings arising from risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Assist in strengthening governance frameworks and risk reporting capabilities.
• Help ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Insights

• Prepare risk analysis reports and presentations for senior management.
• Provide meaningful insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Support risk-related committee reporting and management information processes.
• Deliver clear and concise communication of risk-related matters to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Finance, Credit, Operations, Compliance, Audit, and other Risk teams.
• Build strong relationships across business functions to support enterprise-wide risk management.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and regulatory projects where required.
• Stay informed on economic, regulatory, and industry developments impacting the banking sector.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Financial Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

• UAE National Fresh Graduate or qualified Ethraa candidate.
• Strong academic background with a passion for Risk Management and Analytics.
• Previous internships or exposure to banking, finance, analytics, or risk functions will be advantageous.

Industry Exposure

• Understanding of banking and financial services environments.
• Interest in Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, Regulatory Compliance, and Analytics.
• Exposure to data analysis and reporting concepts.
