This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior RUST Systems Engineer - Proxy Appliance based in India. This is a senior systems engineering opportunity focused on building next-generation edge proxy infrastructure deployed across thousands of school networks. You’ll work deeply with Rust, Linux, networking, hardware appliances, and cloud infrastructure to develop reliable, high-performance systems software. The role sits close to the operating system and network stack, giving you the opportunity to solve challenging problems involving TCP, sockets, transparent proxying, and constrained deployments. You’ll contribute to fleet update pipelines and infrastructure that must operate reliably at significant scale. The environment is highly collaborative, with engineering teams working across India, the U.S., and the U.K. This is a remote India role offering the chance to build mission-critical technology supporting safer digital environments for students.
