Senior Salesforce Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer based in Canada. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will help shape and maintain a critical Salesforce environment supporting core business operations. You’ll contribute to architecture, business logic, user experience, data design, and integrations with modern backend services. The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership across complex Salesforce solutions. You’ll work closely with Operations leadership and engineering teammates to test, launch, and continuously improve business processes. You’ll independently deliver smaller features while collaborating on larger projects and solving complex technical issues. The position also offers an opportunity to act as a technical subject-matter expert and contribute to development best practices. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where continuous learning, ownership, and knowledge sharing are encouraged.

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Salesforce environment. Establish and apply best practices for Salesforce data architecture, user interfaces, role design, and business logic. Maintain and enhance integrations between Salesforce and core backend services. Design and write modular, scalable, and maintainable code. Apply strong technical practices across solution design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. Independently deliver small-scale projects and features while collaborating with a broader team on medium- to large-scale initiatives. Investigate difficult-to-reproduce bugs, identify failure conditions, and support initial testing of new functionality. Stay current with Salesforce technology and releases and identify opportunities to apply relevant improvements. Work closely with Operations leadership to rapidly test, implement, and iterate on core business processes. Contribute to technical solution design and provide mentorship and subject-matter expertise to other developers working on complex Salesforce architecture. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 8+ years of professional software development experience. Recent, hands-on experience developing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions and contributing production code using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and/or Visualforce. Strong experience developing on the Salesforce platform, particularly Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud. Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns. Strong knowledge of when to use Salesforce Flows versus Apex based on solution requirements and best practices. Extensive experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC). Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications. Comfortable taking technical ownership as a subject-matter expert for solution design and complex, custom Salesforce architecture. Strong understanding of modern application architecture. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse technical and professional backgrounds. Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Motivated by building applications that users value and actively adopt. Eagerness to learn new technologies and share knowledge with teammates. Additional professional development experience outside of Salesforce is an asset.
