Senior Software Engineer

What You'll Do Design, build, and test SFG in C++ or Rust (Windows/Linux) as the transparent proxy between WAF and backend. Implement the core flow: intercept uploads → forward to MetaDefender Core over ICAP → return sanitized files, with low latency and high reliability. Build multi-threaded, high-concurrency networking components. Build and use agentic workflows (e.g., Claude Code, autonomous coding agents) daily for coding, testing, and debugging. Work within a Scrum team; collaborate with Product Management; do peer code reviews. What We Need Strong OOP background (Java/C#), willing to learn/work in C++ or Rust. Solid multi-threading and network programming skills. Comfort with protocol/network-level concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, proxying). Genuine interest in using AI tools in your dev workflow. Experience building or using multi-agents Good coding/debugging skills, strong communication, self-motivated. Nice to Have ICAP protocol, reverse proxy / gateway experience. REST API design. Agile/Scrum, Git/Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/TeamCity. DBMS (SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc.). Windows/Linux dev experience. OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
