Join Episode Six today.   What we’re hiring for:      Position:                              Senior Software Engineer            Company:                           Episode Six North America Corporation Job site address:                201 West 5th St, Ste 1100, Austin, TX 78701 [and working remotely within Texas] QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent. 7 years of experience working as a Java developer. 6 years of experience in Java Enterprise software development. 5 years of experience in Java and JVM memory and performance tuning. Mastery with Lambdas, Generics, and other data structures such as Map, List, Set. 5 years of experience in Spring Framework or equivalent. 5 years of experience in commonly used Design Patterns and advanced algorithm design for high-throughput systems. 4 years of experience in concurrent programming (e.g., Actor Model, Java CompletableFuture, thread pool Executors) for real-time transaction systems. 4 years of experience in Hibernate or equivalent JPA frameworks, optimizing query performance. 4 years of experience with relational databases, i.e., MySQL, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL, and NoSQL databases, i.e. Cassandra or MongoDB. 2 years of experience ensuring compliance in software development. 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring engineers in a fintech environment. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Code, test, analyze and review code for accuracy, functionality, performance, and security. Drive the Software Development Life Cycle, defining sprint goals, ensuring operational stability, and leading product launches. Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring other engineers with technical competence. Communicate strategic technical plans and solutions to stakeholders, including executives, cross-functional teams, and clients. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other teams to align technical solutions with business and regulatory objectives. Document architectural designs, create developer guides, and ensure knowledge transfer through comprehensive documentation. TRAVEL:                No travel required.
