Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Sales Planning

Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Sales Planning based in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to help build and scale an early-stage Sales Planning platform within a fast-growing, product-focused engineering environment. You will work across core capabilities such as quota, capacity, territory management, and an emerging AI-powered revenue planning agent. The position sits at the intersection of product discovery, engineering, architecture, and user experience, giving you meaningful influence over both technical direction and customer-facing functionality. You will turn ambiguous business challenges into reliable, scalable solutions while helping establish a shared platform foundation across products. Your work will also contribute to shaping how AI is integrated into enterprise sales performance management. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys ownership, complex systems, and building products from the ground up.

Build new core product capabilities from the ground up, transforming early concepts and requirements into production-ready functionality using Django, Python, React, and TypeScript. Work closely with Product and Design to understand ambiguous problems, clarify requirements, and translate customer and business needs into high-impact technical solutions. Develop and refine core Sales Planning capabilities, including quota management, capacity planning, territory management, and AI-powered revenue planning. Optimize application and platform performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks as the product scales to support complex enterprise-grade datasets. Help define technical requirements and contribute to the migration toward a common platform architecture across products. Design scalable data models, APIs, and system architectures capable of supporting complex business logic and high data volumes. Maintain high standards for code quality, automated testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness. Build and maintain reliable, observable production systems with a strong focus on uptime and operational quality. Leverage AI development tools effectively to accelerate engineering delivery while maintaining reliable and maintainable code. Contribute to the productization of AI within a new enterprise performance management offering and help shape its long-term technical foundation. Support the development of AI model feedback loops and, where applicable, evaluation and guardrail systems that improve model behavior and reliability. Mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture centered on technical excellence, collaboration, and ownership. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, resolve critical issues, and help maintain system uptime. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack proficiency. Strong experience with Python, React/TypeScript, and databases. Experience building and scaling products from early-stage development through production environments. Strong systems-thinking and architectural judgment, with the ability to design robust data models and APIs for complex business logic and high-volume datasets. Experience working closely with Product and Design teams and translating customer feedback and business requirements into effective technical solutions. Strong customer-centric mindset and product sensibility, with an ability to balance technical considerations with user and business outcomes. Proven experience building observable, reliable production systems and taking ownership of production quality and performance. Practical ability to use AI-powered development tools to ship reliable software efficiently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional product development environments. Strong ownership mindset and comfort operating in an early-stage product where requirements and priorities may evolve. Django experience is strongly preferred. Experience building AI model feedback loops to continuously improve model behavior is a plus. Experience implementing AI evaluation and guardrail systems is a plus, including offline and online evaluations, safety filters, policy enforcement, failure detection, human-in-the-loop workflows, and red-teaming.
