ABOUT THE ROLE
Full job description
ABOUT THE ROLE This customer-facing role bridges pre-sales and implementation, serving as the technical lead from discovery through go-live. You will work across the commercial organization with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to design solutions that address supply chain and cold chain challenges and remain practical to deliver. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead technical and process discovery with supply chain, quality, logistics, and IT stakeholders to understand workflows, data sources, systems, and constraints.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations based on customer use cases and respond to technical objections in sales conversations.
- Design solutions by identifying applicable modules, data requirements, integrations, phases, and out-of-scope items.
- Turn solution designs into sequenced implementation plans and scoped statements of work, making effort, dependencies, and delivery risks clear.
- Partner with Sales on proposals and commercial documents to ensure commitments are technically deliverable.
- Carry solution designs into delivery, lead workshops, guide software configuration, and stay accountable through customer go-live.
- Coordinate technical handoffs and deliverables across Product, Data, Engineering, and Delivery teams, sharing customer needs with product teams.
- Create reusable solution designs, discovery frameworks, scoping templates, and integration patterns. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager delivering enterprise software implementations.
- Experience owning solution designs from pre-sales through implementation and go-live, including tailored demonstrations and technical sales discussions.
- Background in supply chain, cold chain, logistics, or quality management workflows, ideally in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, food, or healthcare.
- Hands-on experience configuring or implementing enterprise software modules, such as product release management, qualification systems, or command-and-control platforms.
- Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as Figma or FigJam, and project tracking tools such as Linear or Jira.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical handoffs, building implementation playbooks, and working with data integrations, APIs, or system interoperability challenges. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary: $140,000 to $180,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
