Full job description

This fixed-term international professional role provides senior technical support to workers' organizations and ILO constituents, develops programmes and policy advice, contributes to research and knowledge products, represents the ILO in relevant forums, and supports cooperation on labour rights and workers' activities. The vacancy is open to eligible internal and external candidates.

Requirements & qualifications

The ILO lists an advanced university degree in fields such as economics, labour law, public administration, industrial relations, political science or a related discipline, with an accepted bachelor's-plus-additional-experience route. The position requires at least ten years of relevant professional experience, including international experience in workers' activities or trade-union work. Excellent Spanish and working English are required; Portuguese is an asset.
