This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in India. This is a senior technical leadership opportunity focused on shaping large-scale software systems and platform architecture. You will influence engineering strategy across multiple teams and organizational domains while remaining close to complex technical challenges. The role combines architecture, distributed systems, cloud engineering, modernization, reliability, and developer productivity. You will help introduce AI-assisted engineering practices and identify new ways to improve development effectiveness and business outcomes. As a technical leader, you will drive alignment on complex initiatives without relying on direct reporting authority. You will also mentor senior engineers and help establish engineering practices that promote scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence. This position is ideal for an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and turning long-term technical strategy into measurable results.
