Our partner is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator - Logical Inventory based in United States. This role is responsible for the administration, reliability, and data integrity of a critical logical network inventory platform. You will manage the application lifecycle across configuration, production support, testing, upgrades, integrations, and data quality. Working closely with network engineering, product, infrastructure, integration teams, functional leads, and vendors, you will help maintain an accurate and dependable inventory environment. The position combines enterprise application administration with SQL-based data analysis, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and automation. You will also contribute to improving operational processes, resolving root causes, and strengthening the tooling that supports network operations. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex application and inventory challenges in a rapidly evolving environment.

Administer, configure, and provide operational support for the logical network inventory application, including reference data and administrative functions. Coordinate with software vendors on product roadmaps, upgrades, defects, and new functionality, ensuring changes are effectively planned and managed. Plan, coordinate, test, document, and communicate application changes, patches, releases, and upgrades with business owners and technical stakeholders. Develop and execute use-case, regression, data-validation, and unit testing to ensure application reliability and data integrity. Triage production incidents, investigate root causes, and resolve or coordinate resolution of application, data, and integration issues. Participate in on-call support, incident response, and other operational activities required to maintain production stability. Protect the completeness and accuracy of logical network inventory through SQL analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and controlled data remediation. Support bulk inventory loads, migrations, transformations, and reconciliation activities while identifying and resolving discrepancies, missing relationships, duplicate records, stale data, and other quality issues. Build a deep understanding of the inventory platform, supporting infrastructure, integrations, and network data flows to improve troubleshooting and operational effectiveness. Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks while providing application and inventory support across the broader organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, or at least 6 years of experience supporting enterprise or packaged applications; relevant certifications are a plus. At least 5 years of experience with logical network inventory platforms such as Netcracker, MetaSolv, or comparable OSS/network inventory solutions. At least 3 years of SQL experience, including analyzing complex datasets and identifying data-quality issues. Experience modeling network structures, resources, and relationships within logical inventory systems, including network elements, interfaces, connectivity, services, and dependencies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities across application, data, integration, and operational environments. Experience working in Linux environments, with knowledge of WebLogic Server administration and Apache or other web/application servers. Experience troubleshooting APIs, enterprise application integrations, and data flows between systems. Python scripting or development experience for automation and operational tooling. Familiarity with network inventory discovery, reconciliation, data remediation, and related operational processes. Strong organizational, written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, functional leads, subject matter experts, and vendors. Ability to work independently, manage multiple operational priorities, make sound decisions, and involve leadership or subject matter experts when appropriate. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to protecting production inventory integrity. Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, application configurations, and operational practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Visio and Excel, is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and approach technical challenges creatively. Benefits Estimated base salary range of USD $112,800–$173,600 per year , with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, experience, skills, certifications, and other organizational factors.
