ABOUT THE ROLE This is a foundational talent acquisition role at a fast-growing AI SaaS company, sitting within the Operations team and working directly with senior leadership. You will build the recruiting function from the ground up, owning strategy and execution across all hiring as the company scales rapidly from its current team size. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop clear job requirements and candidate profiles in close collaboration with hiring managers.
- Build and maintain pipelines of high-potential candidates through active sourcing, channel activation, and structured screening.
- Coordinate all stages of the hiring process from initial outreach through offer negotiation and closure.
- Conduct screening calls that yield meaningful insights into candidate fit across both technical and cultural dimensions.
- Negotiate and close employment contracts with prospective hires.
- Design and implement lean, scalable recruiting workflows and administrative processes without unnecessary complexity.
- Develop and execute an employer branding strategy to attract top talent.
- Coordinate with external recruiting partners and support onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Establish HR foundations including process documentation, tool selection, and team programming. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 or more years executing recruiting processes across multiple role profiles and organizational contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement lean, scalable recruiting processes from scratch.
- Hands-on proficiency with recruiting platforms and software, including ATS, sourcing tools, and candidate management systems.
- Experience conducting structured screening calls and candidate assessments, with a clear framework for evaluating fit.
- Track record of active sourcing and pipeline building across diverse candidate pools.
- Experience negotiating and closing employment contracts.
- Data-driven approach to recruiting, with the ability to measure and track key metrics.
- Experience building recruiting infrastructure including process documentation, tool setup, and administrative workflows.
- Background in high-growth or scaling startup environments is a strong plus.
- Experience with employer branding, external vendor coordination, and onboarding or offboarding process design is advantageous. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: 65,000 to 80,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION On-site in Vienna, Austria.
