We are seeking a Senior Tools Engineer for our growing engine and creative development teams. You'll create the invisible infrastructure that empowers our entire team—from intuitive editor extensions to sophisticated asset pipelines. Every tool you build multiplies the creativity and efficiency of dozens of developers, artists, and designers. You'll own:
- Custom engine editor tools and plugins
- Asset import/export pipelines and workflow automation
- Build systems and deployment infrastructure
- Developer productivity tools and debugging utilities
- Integration systems for external tools and services What we're looking for:
- 5+ years developing tools for game development or interactive content teams
- Strong C++ experience with modern game engine technology (Unreal, Unity, Godot, or proprietary engines)
- Deep understanding of editor architecture, plugin systems, and extensibility patterns
- Experience building asset pipelines and content management workflows
- UX mindset for developer-facing tools—you understand that great tools are invisible Bonus points:
- Experience with multiple game engines and their tooling ecosystems
- Scripting language proficiency (Python, C#, Lua, or similar)
- CI/CD and DevOps background
- DCC tool integration experience (Maya, Blender, Substance, etc.)
- Version control systems and asset management at scale
