Senior/Specialist DevOps (preferably Azure)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior/Specialist DevOps (preferably Azure) based in Brazil. As a Senior/Specialist DevOps Engineer, you will help shape scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions across modern cloud environments. You will work closely with software architects and development teams to design platforms, automate delivery, and strengthen operational efficiency. The role combines platform architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud engineering, automation, and hands-on troubleshooting. You will evaluate emerging technologies through proof-of-concepts and help determine how they can improve infrastructure and operations. You will also contribute to security, high availability, and continuous improvement across development and production environments. This is an opportunity to influence platform strategy while mentoring other engineers and applying modern DevOps and AI-assisted practices.

Collaborate with software architects and development teams to define infrastructure requirements and design scalable, comprehensive platform solutions. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes. Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation to enable scalable and reproducible infrastructure. Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, with a particular focus on Azure where applicable. Conduct proof-of-concepts to evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies and assess their potential impact on infrastructure and operations. Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and availability across production and development environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving infrastructure, deployments, and applications, implementing sustainable solutions to improve system stability. Integrate security best practices into infrastructure architecture and deployment processes while supporting compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Apply AI and AI-assisted tools to infrastructure and operational activities where they can improve automation, analysis, efficiency, or reliability. Mentor team members on advanced DevOps practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Requirements: Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on platform architecture and scalable infrastructure design. Strong experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency. Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar technologies. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including production-grade deployments. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management. Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and practical experience with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience conducting PoCs and evaluating new technologies to improve infrastructure, development, and operational processes. Strong security mindset with experience implementing security best practices across cloud-based and on-premise environments. Fluency in English for daily communication with clients and international teams; candidates should submit their resume in English. Experience using AI effectively for infrastructure and DevOps activities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and cross-functional stakeholders. Azure DevOps Engineer certification, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or other relevant cloud and DevOps certifications is a plus. Previous experience in software development or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an advantage. Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure and implementing Azure-specific DevOps practices is highly desirable.
