SEO Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SEO Manager based in India. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on increasing organic visibility, qualified traffic, leads, and revenue. You will combine strategic SEO leadership with hands-on technical optimization, content strategy, search analysis, and performance tracking. The position spans the full organic growth lifecycle, from keyword and competitor research to technical SEO, content optimization, and reporting. You will also play a key role in marketing automation, A/B testing, email workflows, and emerging AI-powered productivity initiatives. Claude and other AI tools will be used extensively to automate repetitive activities and improve the efficiency of SEO and digital marketing operations. The role also includes social and video marketing responsibilities, with YouTube content promotion forming an essential part of the position. It is well suited to a creative, adaptable SEO professional who can work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Develop, own, and execute the overall SEO strategy with a focus on organic visibility, qualified traffic, leads, and revenue. Lead technical SEO activities and continuously identify, investigate, and resolve issues that may affect organic search performance. Conduct comprehensive keyword research, search-intent analysis, and competitor research to identify opportunities for growth. Monitor and improve Google search rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance indicators. Develop and execute an SEO-focused content strategy aligned with search demand and business objectives. Identify content gaps and opportunities, while continuously improving and optimizing existing content. Manage and improve Google Business Profile and local search visibility where relevant. Monitor Google rankings, Google Search Console, GA4, and other key SEO metrics. Ensure analytics and tracking are correctly configured and maintained through GA4 and Google Tag Manager. Build useful reports and dashboards that connect SEO performance with meaningful business outcomes. Use Claude and other AI tools extensively to increase productivity and automate repetitive SEO and marketing activities. Manage tracking, A/B testing, and email automation initiatives. Build and optimize WhatsApp agents and web agents. Drive YouTube content promotion as a core component of the overall digital growth strategy. Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders while maintaining ownership of SEO priorities and outcomes. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing, including strong experience developing and executing SEO content strategies. 5+ years of experience driving growth in Google Search rankings and organic performance. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Tag Manager. 5+ years of experience conducting keyword research, search-intent analysis, and competitor research. 4+ years of experience working with React and Next.js. 5+ years of overall professional experience at a senior level. Proven experience with YouTube content promotion, which is an essential requirement for the role. Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimization, analytics, tracking, and organic growth principles. Experience using AI tools, particularly Claude or similar solutions, to improve productivity and automate repetitive marketing workflows. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, adapting your approach to different situations and stakeholders. Ability to combine big-picture strategic thinking with strong attention to detail and hands-on execution. Highly flexible and adaptive approach to work, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and opportunities. Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to develop practical solutions to complex SEO and marketing challenges.
